We offer two types of memberships. Have a look.
Note: To attend workshops, post on our facebook page, attend our photowalks, you don't have to be a privilege members. Membership is suited for those who want to go beyond clicking usual photos in usual settings  

Privilege Membership
DPCs Privilege Membership is now open!
Join the exclusive group of enthusiasts and share your passion of photography, motivate, learn, and be inspired.
As a Privilege member, you become part of the select few who have taken a decided step to take photography beyond a casual interest (beyond uploads on social media pages and vacation shots).

Membership Benefits
  • Lens library*: You can take lenses on rent from the club
  • Dedicated mentor: To offer critical feedback and guidance on your photographs through the year
  • Assisted local photowalks: Photowalks assisted by a facilitator (these are different from the free Heritage Photowalks)
  • Advice: Neutral advise on what camera or lens to buy
  • Online Gallery: Dedicated online gallery of 50 photos on the club's website with your profile
  • Your own Exhibition: Availability of DPC lounge to organize your personal exhibition for a week any time through the year. That's a 800 sq ft space available to you! Without paying anything for the space.
  • Monthly meetings: meet and get to know likeminded people.
  • Discounts: Upto 20 % discounts on camera/ lenses/DPC workshops.

Who should join?
  • Photography enthusiasts irrespective of the camera (you can have DSLR or a digital camera)

Membership Fee: Rs. 6000/- for first 50 registrations
  • For senior citizens: INR 3000 per year
  • For DPC workshop participants: INR 4000 per year

YPM (Youth Photography Membership)
DPCs Youth Photography Membership (YPM) is now open!!
The DPC Youth Photography Membership allows budding photographers and photography enthusiasts of all year round activities, constant feedback, advise, encouragement and motivation for photography.

c-Weekly online assignment and a detailed personal feedback on your submission

  • Any college/university going student with loads of enthusiasm towards photography
  • Having any camera—Digital or DSLR

Requirements
To be a member, we need the following
a-photo copy of your college id
b-Membership fee, paid in full
c-Filled up application form
d-Two photos

Membership Fee: 1500 per annum (1080 rupees for first 50 members)

  • You have to be a lover of learning photography first of all
  • Any camera is just fine for this trip. However, for bird photography, you may want a zoom lens with a tripod.
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Know cycling? Great. If not, we'll have a rickshaw for you at Bharatpur
  • Identity proof (any govt document)
  • Adaptability--The rooms are on twin sharing basis! :)

Facilitator: Harish Tyagi

Harish Tyagi, is currently is currently the Chief photographer (Indian sub-continent) for the European Press Photo Agency EPA and is a mentor of Delhi Photography Club. With more than a decade experience in photo journalism and capturing stories as they unfold, he is guiding the club in achieving its vision of taking photography homes.

Harish is the recipient of several awards, including, the National Media Fellowship for photojournalists ( 2001-2002) from the National Foundation for India, Gold Award( Nature and Environment category) at the First Indian Press Photographer’s Awards (Dec 2000). With a Master’s in Political Science, Harish’s core interest areas include issues related to the human consequences of international and civil conflict, the environment and children and he is currently working on Season Distress Migration and its effects on Children Under the media fellowship program

21st October 2011 A three-hour session on outdoor photography at Delhi Photography Club lounge
530 pm: Start from Delhi and beat the traffic!!
(Check in at Birder's Inn, Bharatpur)
22nd October 2011 Morning: Photo shoot at the world famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to capture sunrise, bird and wildlife
Noon: Start for Jaipur
(Check in at UtsavNiwas Boutique Guest House)
Evening: Photography of a major market in the walled (pink) city
23rd October 2011 Morning to Noon: Photo capture around Albert Hall Museum, HawaMahal, Jalmahal and Nahargarh Fort
Afternoon: We start for Delhi
Pl note this itinerary is assuming weather and local conditions are favorable for photography. There could a change in the same in the interest of participants.
