Course Overview
We offer serious photography enthusiast and hobbyists a platform to extend their creative pursuits beyond simple photographs.

The objective of the 2 month course is to introduce participants to the art and science of photography

The course will begin with simple familiarization of equipment and gear, subsequently, moving on to intermediate and advanced concepts of creative photography.
Course Outline
1. What is photography-the art and science of it
2. Knowing your camera and what your camera can/can't do for you
3. Taking full advantage of the your camera features
4. What makes a great shot and why some adorn your walls as compared to the rest
5. Who is a good subject for a photo and how to be one yourself
6. Using ISO in different situations
7. Knowing what aperture is and how does help take great shots
8. Depth of field and its application close up photography
9. Controlling shutter speed to capture action in your photos
10. Achieving correct Exposure
11. Introduction to lighting and how to add drama to your photos using lighting
12. Important light sources and how to use them
13. Understanding the aesthetics & creativity in photography
14. Aspects of correctly framing the picture
15. Situational photography
16. Post shoot improvements
Course Details
Duration: 16 sessions spread over 2 months

Requirements

The 2 month course, doesn't assume any special requirement from the participant. However, the DSLR owners have benefitted the most in this course.

You could be a student wanting to take up photography as a hobby, or a working professional wanting to let your creativity out as a photo. Or you could simply be a homemaker doing a great job managing the household and are looking at photography as reward of the job well done in managing the house.
